No that's cool. i think you are correct though. i grew up exactly in this time and i woulnd't trade it for anything. Songs like this bring back that lost decade. Yes there were many one-hit-wonders of the 80's . probably the era itself but music went off a cliff after the eighties.

i will be 38 in april. i grew up in the 80's and it seemed life was so simple then. nobody gave a fuck about anything. if you had purple and orange hair, oh well! if you were gay, oh well! if you wanted to lay around nude all day, so be it. it's all about the f***ing democracy we live in!! I was 16 yrs. in 86..I was a huge fan of howard proberly one of the biggest fans in denmark. Tryed to look like hin´m and all..
the 80's was great... I long back some times! ! . . .

I'm 25 years old and this is one of my favorite songs of all time.I wish I was in my twenties in the 80's times seem to be much more simpler then,but now.....times are tuff,people suck,and the music today is just total shit.Why am I in my prime in such a fucked up time in this country.Sorry to be so negative my fellow 80's fans.

I'm 30 yrs old and a large amount of the world's ppl suck and lack understanding due to money. The great artistic wounders of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's occured because the major source of that artistic brilliance was from the heart and not for the dollar like today's pre-engineered movies and films. I wish i was in my prime during the 80's at least, even before. Oh well we can't decide when we are born but my brothers who were in the 80's tell me that it was an exciting time to be alive.
