I have never owned a dog before, but I have been around greyhounds in the past. They are such sweet dogs. Its amazing that they could retain such a loving demeanor after the horrible life they live.

I personally would like to see Greyhound racing stopped, I don't think the racing is cruel (the dogs seem to love it) but many are misteated and once they stop racing and can't find a new home their future doesn't look good.
I adopted a exracer called Nitro, he is the coolest dog EVER.
