I normally love extreme music (screaching, visceral vocals and power riffs or distorted but haunting symphonic or synthesized sounds) but this song is almost perfect. It does not matter who wrote the lyrics, what it's truly about because Blue October made this their song. They performed it so well that it will remain timeless.

i think they are just confused. stephanie meyer put this on a playlist on her website for the second book (i think), it was just one of the songs that she listened to while writing it so she associates it with certain parts of the book.
i think this song was written for his mother but im not sure about that
