On that day, she predicted that Citigroup had so mismanaged its affairs that it would need to slash its dividend or go bust. Whitney caused the market in financial stocks to crash. By the end of the trading day, a woman whom basically no one had ever heard of had shaved $369 billion off the value of financial firms in the market.

Banks are going down you home price will do the same and the fed is only creating money out of nothing for the banks to plug holes.

That would mean get your money out of the bank and sell your home if you can and I would say buy physical gold and silver but there isn't any cuz of the wicked price drop in the paper market.

But you will do the opposite of what a Billionaires like Jim Rogers are doing that's why you will be broke.

Meredith is right and another aspect that is contributing to the housing downturn, and nobody is talking about, is the dollar-yuan peg. The bottom of the housing market is not going to be in the United States - but in China.

She's right, but Peter Schiff called this years ago... notice how they don't have him on anymore.

It's really hard to believe anyone that comes on CNBC. Mozilo was on there about 10 times and kept said the housing industry was healthy and Countrywide was doing fine. That idiot should be in jail.
