Hip Hop was always going to die out, it's like in anything, once something gets big, big money is involved and that is what killed hip hop. Rappers now start writing songs for all the wrong reasons. Whereas back then even though it was to get out of the shithole they lived in, they were all passionate about Rap/Hip Hop, now its just about having 50 cars, having a house that appears on cribs and to be on every magazine cover / tv channel.
