in concert he doesn't go for those really high notes. but on runaway he usually does a guitar solo in place of it. so he makes up for it. greatest band in concert ever!

I don't think he can do the really high notes anymore. Singing all those years (plus aging) takes its toll on vocal cords. I think I read somewhere that he actually had to go a month or two without talking or singing because his vocal cords were so badly strained. I'm not sure how true that was.

He's still great in concert, twenty something years later. He's still hot even at 47!
