That's wrong, there's no real progress. The music changes that's true, but the possibilities of arranging the few accords that sound "good" are limited and so it is no wonder that newer music pieces often sound like an older piece or that music covers are often quite successful.

I was just saying that music genres change over time and if it were to be made main stream again, it would never work. Just like you don't hear music that sounds like its from the 60's, 70's. 80's, or 90's anymore except in dance club dj remixes. Music keeps getting more and more progressive so this kinda song will never be heard again.

It came out in '89. I remember because I was in 4th grade and had just moved to Florida and this was on the top 40 forever. But I pray to God that music like this is never made again. It made that time period special.

Im thinking its more about drugs,like overdosing,falling like soldiers do when killed in battle.But than again,its only what I think. Sad song,but I still like it.
