Have you had a chance to shoot any other ar15s for comparison? I am looking at them now to buy and just wonder which one to buy. Thnx.

I've shot an FN, Bushmaster, COlt, DPMS, and Smith and Wesson. They are all good rifles as long as you clean them properly. I did have a bit of problem with the DPMS but it could have been a bad magazine.

I disagree. The Colt has a the military contract... so they have to do it on an economy of scales...Being in the militray and having an MP 15 I find the after market AR 15 platforms much better tighter.They have more room and budget to improve. I have never liked the Colt b/c they have ripped off the armed services for a long time with an inferior rifle. The reason I bought the S&W AR 15 was b/c I saw a company video on them making it testing etc...I was sold.

yeah i know, we should let the soldiers choose what to use, and give them the info they need. And of course the Government being it's bureaucratic self it only signs contracts to American weapon makers. We could be sporting much better rifles like the XM8 or the G36 heck maybe even an AK or two or like you were saying just a better quality AR15 like the S&W one

if you are going to use an overused, over hyped song like bodies by drowning pool then you need to convert that into full auto and then make the video. and hell, why talk instead of pretending you are cool because you have a rifle.
