In a million years I will never understand why people who are bothered by Nat's comment and recant ,linger here to complain. I know it's free speech but why linger? Is it a love/hate relationship? Love the video,but hate what they did? Okay I get the point but never the linger part. The lingering changes the free-speech into something else.

And it would have been great if she had been sincere in her statement. Unfortunately she took only four days to apologize, then when it was safe, recanted her apology. She even called the statement a joke in her own movie!Yeah, she's the bravest. It wasn't the Bush comment that got people fired up anyway. Bashing Nat is gone.

I think they were treated unfairly for sure, but thats the price of voicing an opinion that is different from that of the majority. But know look at the majrity and mostly everyone hates Bush.

To the person who was upset that the Disc Jockey wouldn't play the Dixie Chicks, I'm a disc jockey and I also refuse to play them. Jisc Jockeys were fired for playing them.

Oh my...how the self important make such tasteful videos these days. Perhaps she can don a crown of thorns or jump on a cross after Kanye and Madonna have finished using them to demonstrate their self importance. One more note to the seriouly uninformed out there...free speech does NOT mean anyone has to listen to it, like it, or not criticize it.
