In the last five years, more juvenile offenders were killed in Texas than in the rest of the world combined. America continues to defend its right to execute children.

"They think we're beasts. And we deserve nothing else other than our execution," despairs Oswaldo. He's been on death row since he was 17, after accidentally killing a man during an armed robbery. "In 12 years, I haven't had a hug or a kiss." In Louisiana, Lawrence Jacob Jr is also fighting for his life. Like Oswaldo, he was only 17 when he was sentenced to death. "I'm not asking you to release me. I'm only asking you for the chance to rehabilitate," he reasons. Cerebral research proves that the brains of 17 year olds have not developed as much as adults. "Youths at that age are much too impulsive and don't have the control," explains one expert. But in America, that's no bar to their execution.

i would say that they are still pretty lucky to get such a humane execution. look at how clean and nice their last cells are and they can eat what ever they like for their last meal. they don't even feel nothing when they get killed either. cant say that about their victims. their victims suffered a painful and horrible death with no honor.

I'm not saying that there are not some evil people in this world that should be locked away for ever, there are. The worst of them present themselves in sheep's clothing and that is why you cannot go by these bleeding heart documentaries and feel sorry for the majority on death row. Most of them are cunning liars who come off as meek and as innocent as a child. However, killing is wrong, especially when you do it out of ideological principals rooted in so-called Christian beliefs (just as evil).

Rick Warren, "A Christian Leader", presented George Bush with a peace medal. George Bush signed more death warrants in his term as Texas Governor than the Chinese put to death during that same period. Not only that, but he cruelly mocked some the people whom he condemned.

What gets me is that it is *often* times the Christian Right that is so eager to dole out the death penalty. What do you think Christ would do? I always thought that Christianity was about forgiveness and love. I live in Texas and I can tell you more often than not it is about condemnation and bigotry and hate. We also kill more people in death row than even China. Rick Perry, the Bush family: They are extreme haters, bordering on Naziism, but under the guise of compassionate conservativeism.

Not trying to make it a racial issue but it's sad to me that the guy Dominique (young black man) when he got executed for killing that other guy's father (an older black man), and it was just a bunch of white people for the witnesses. That shit is a trip man...
