reggae isn't a form of Jamaican rap, Reggae pre-dates hip-hop. but even if it was... this isn't reggae. this is pop by a guy from Jamaica. there's absolutely no Reggae elements in this song at all, since the beat is from "Stand by me," a soul song by Ben E. King.
