great example of the effortless way Jerry Lee could take a song and make it his own...i LOVE Elvis but the dude down below who would take his version over Jerry's must have a tin ear but, more importantly, a complete lack of understanding of Jerry's unquestioned prowess as a MUSICIAN and song interpreter for which he is far underrated!!!...Early Elvis was unparalleled but he lapsed into singing a lot of songs later that were just wrong for him. Jerry Lee could make ANYTHING his own.....

no one can sings this songs the way Elvis sings it, after all his daughter's name is Lisa Marie.this songs fits Elvis only.Sorry don't get me wrong , Jerry is good too

Elvis' version was ok but I like the oringal best, Elvis smoothed it out a lot (too much I think, made it too ballady,, but that was where he was heading at that time i guess). Jerry Lee has sort of countrified it but the fact is that thdy are all good in their own ways, so maybe we should just enjoy them for what they are.
