that is cool but if you fall off, you know you become either pirana lunch or caiman's dessert.

Also don't pee in the Amazon river because there is a small fish that gets atracted to urine (apart from piranas and caimans and anacondas) that gets inside your peepee, so you have been warmed. No more peepee in the Amazon amigos gringos! xD

I believe this is known as a tidal bore, happens every so often on a few rivers around the world. Basically just a lot of water moving from one side of the earth to the other :P

Yeah, I looked a couple of pages back and there was another guy talking about it. There was a documentary on Nat.geo. I guess the species of fish is related to a catfish.
